Band Q&A
Here the band members of the Fab Four will answer your own questions! Simply visit our forums to post your questions, and you may get them answered here! The guys will be answering a handful of questions in each of these newsletters.

Q: Do you guys have like tons of instruments at home like all kinds of guitars? Or do you really just have beatles gear since that’s what you always use?
A: We all have many instruments. But, Ardy is the real guitar enthusiast. He's got all kinds of electrics, acoustics, basses, etc. Mostly right-handed!

Q: Do you guys have any rituals that you do before every show? Or are there any superstitions?
A: At 10 minutes before the show we all huddle around, jump up and down, yell, and holler 1,2,3 RING! That's just a Laker's style joke. We all have our different individual rituals, but we generally get dressed for the show with the Beatles blasting backstage.

Q: With all of the travel you lads endure, how do you keep your instruments from getting beat up too badly by airlines, trains etc. Or have you ever had to replace any of them because of the abuse?
A: We've been around the world seems like a few times in our 12 year history. These days, all of the equipment, guitars, etc arrive safely in shipping crates before we get to the stage. But, we have quite a list of smashed, and/or broken guitars:
3 - smashed Gibson J-160e acoustic guitars
1- Rickenbacker 325 snapped at the neck
1- Hofner bass falls face first at the end of show. Snapped in half
1- Gibson Les Paul falls at Disney's California Adventure NYE. Head snaps off.
1- Keyboard short circuits after Buddy Hackett pours a drink on it as part of his comedy routine (that's a whole story within itself)

Q: Do any of the guys collect Beatle memorabilia? If so, what is your favorite item?
A: Ron is the biggest Beatles memorabilia collector. Lots of rare records, magazines, dolls, and stuff. His favorite items are the ones that don't clog up the office.

Q: Is the Bass Guitar tablature that Ardy plays in "Twist and Shout", very similar to the bass guitar tabs for Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba"?
A: Yes. Very observant of you. The bass line for "Twist And Shout" is very similar to "La Bamba." The two songs are basically the same musically, but a different key. See the movie "Born In The USA."

Q: How many Beatle shirts do you own and who has the largest collection?
A: Ok, this is a hard one. This is a guess. Without going into everyone's closet, it's probably Ardy, with Ron and Rolo tied for second place.
